  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 5 medium potatoes, diced
  • 5 cups (1.2 L) water or chicken stock

  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

  • 4 oz (120 g) smoked sausage (kolbász), sliced (optional but delicious)
