
🥣 Instructions:
1. Prepare the Dough:
- In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until creamy.
- Add eggs, vanilla, sour cream, and lemon zest.
- Mix in flour, baking powder, and salt to form a soft dough.
- Divide into two portions, wrap, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
2. Make the Filling:
- In a bowl, combine cottage cheese, sugar, egg yolk, semolina, vanilla, lemon zest, and raisins if using.
- Mix well and set aside.
3. Assemble:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease or line a 9×13 inch (23×33 cm) baking dish.
- Roll out one dough half and press into the bottom of the dish.
- Spread the cottage cheese filling evenly over it.
- Roll out the second dough piece and place on top. Prick lightly with a fork.
4. Bake:
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the top is golden.
- Let cool, then dust with powdered sugar.
