🥣 Instructions:

1. Prepare the Dough:

  • In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until creamy.
  • Add eggs, vanilla, sour cream, and lemon zest.
  • Mix in flour, baking powder, and salt to form a soft dough.
  • Divide into two portions, wrap, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

2. Make the Filling:

  • In a bowl, combine cottage cheese, sugar, egg yolk, semolina, vanilla, lemon zest, and raisins if using.
  • Mix well and set aside.

3. Assemble:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease or line a 9×13 inch (23×33 cm) baking dish.
  • Roll out one dough half and press into the bottom of the dish.
  • Spread the cottage cheese filling evenly over it.
  • Roll out the second dough piece and place on top. Prick lightly with a fork.

4. Bake:

  • Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the top is golden.
  • Let cool, then dust with powdered sugar.

Cut into squares and enjoy warm or cold.
