Here’s a homestyle recipe for Hungarian Meatballs (Fasírt / Húsgombóc) 🇭🇺🥩🍽️


🥘 Ingredients (for 4–6 servings):

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground pork (or mix pork & beef)
  • 2 slices of white bread, soaked in milk and squeezed out
  • 1 medium onion, finely grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp Hungarian sweet paprika
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • ½ tsp marjoram (optional, traditional flavor)
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs (for coating)
